🩸HP Steal and HP Steal per Hit

Understanding HP Steal. HP Steal is the attribute responsible for restoring your HP when you attack a monster. It depends directly on your damage. For example, a Ring of Life Absorption grants you 5% HP Steal from total damage. Therefore, when attacking a monster, 5% of the total damage will be converted into HP recovery. If we calculate, 5% of 12405 equals 620. 620 is a huge amount of HP recovered. That's where Vampiric items come in. There's a limit to how much HP can be recovered per hit.

Understanding HP Steal per Hit:

HP Steal is simply the maximum amount of HP that can be recovered per hit. As shown in the example above, 5% HP Steal isn't enough if you don't have HP Steal to increase the maximum HP regenerated per hit.Characters typically have a natural HP Steal, which is equivalent to 10% of their level. Therefore, if your character is level 200, you already have 20% HP Steal. This means that no matter how much HP Steal you have, the maximum HP regenerated per hit will be 20.To increase this limit, simply use Vampire items, which grant more HP Steal. Therefore, assuming your character has two +9 Vampire Earrings, you'll already have 110 HP Steal + Natural. A level 200 character, for example, will have 130 HP Steal. This means that no matter how much stealing your character has, the maximum HP they'll recover is 130, as that's the maximum limit. Trivia

  • There is a maximum HP Steal limit. This value is 5% of your character's total HP. If your character has 5000 HP, the maximum HP Steal limit will be 250. Above this limit, the steal will have no effect.

  • The amount of HP recovered will be multiplied by the number of mobs attacked. If you recover 130 HP per hit and attack two monsters, you will regenerate 260 HP in total. This doesn't work for MP Steal per Hit and MP Steal. It only works against the primary target.
